Description
The BDS Tactical Advanced Plate Carrier Chest Rig is a fully customizable "Hybrid" Plate Carrier/Chest Rig system that provides the operator the ability to quickly configure their rig for individual mission specific needs. The Base Advanced Plate Carrier Chest Rig starts as a stand-alone carrier that can be upgraded utilizing interchangeable chest rig panels that are fully customizable.

The front side of the carrier has 4 x 8 rows of PALS webbing for attaching BDS Tactical Modular Pouches. The top 2 rows of PALS webbing have loop fastener sewn onto the webbing for attaching ID Patches and name tapes.

The back side of the carrier also had 7 x 8 rows of PALS webbing with loop fastener sewn to the top two rows. The back panel also features a drag handle which is sewn though the panel for strength.

The rig sides panels that sit up against the body are padded with 1/4" closed cell foam for comfort.

The Advanced Plate Carrier Chest Rig has shoulder pads with 1/2" closed cell foam and has 4 x 2 rows of PALS webbing, perfect for attaching our non slip butt stock retention pad, routing communication cables or attaching a single or double shoulder sling. The carrier also features an attachment strap that secures from the front side to the shoulder pads to prevent the shoulder pads from rolling over.

The fully customizable basic chest rig panel features 4 x 18 rows of PALs webbing for attaching BDS tactical gear Modular Pouches. The body side of the chest rig panel has two side slots for the optional Side Plate Pouches (sold separately). This Modular Panel comes with a list of customizable upgrades.

Optional Sewn-On Admin Organizer Pouch

The Sewn-on Zippered Admin Storage Pouch is 13"x8" with 4 by 8 rows of PALS webbing on the front perfect for attaching any of our various magazine pouches or other modular equipment. The inside of the admin pouch has pockets to organize your maps, pens, notebooks, & all other administrative items.

Mag Load-out Options

For 5.56 magazines, you have a choice between a 4 & up to 6 magazine load out.

The 4 Magazine pouch is a flat single stacked magazine panel with 4 by 8 rows of PALS webbing sewn to the front. The 4 Magazine Pouch has fully adjustable & removable lids that close with Hook & Loop with snap closure.

The up to 6 Magazine Pouch is three individual double magazine pouches. The pouches have elastic over the front to keep individual magazines secure in the pouch. The Lids are fully adjustable & removable lids that close with Hook & Loop. All lids come with reverse pull tabs for quick magazine reloads and can be swapped out for our optional more silent bungee magazine retention lids (sold separately).

Optional Side Pouches

The two sides of the chest rig panels can be upgraded to include padded 6"x6"x3" sewn-on GP pouches or Individual 6"x8"x4" Medical Pouches.

GP Pouch Upgrade

Optional 6"x6"x3" side GP pouches can be sewn on the right, left, or both sides of the chest rig. The side GP pouches have PALS webbing on the front and sides for attaching optional equipment. Each pouch is padded with 1/4" closed cell foam for rigidity and to protect the items stored inside. Single Pistol / multi-tool pouches can also be sewn to the side GP pouches as an optional upgrade.

Medical Pouch Upgrade

The Medical Pouch upgrade is a zippered pouch designed specifically for individual medical supplies. The front of the pouch has 2 rows of PALS webbing and has a 5" x 5" utility pocket with loop sewn onto the lid for attachment of ID patches. The inside of the pouch has two 5" x 5" pockets and a d-ring for dummy cording. There are also 4 rows of elastic for organizing bandages and other medical supplies.

Non-Slip Butt Stock Retention Pad

To upgrade the shoulder pads we offer a Butt Stock Non Slip Retention Pad which has 1/4" closed cell foam for added comfort and the front of the pad has a textured rubberized material to keep the butt stock pressed against the shoulder. The Butt Stock Non Slip Retention Pad mounts to the PALS webbing on either shoulder pad.

Modular Accessories

Other options we recommend are some of our best selling products that complement our rigs. Our BDS tactical Modular Admin or Enhanced Admin Pouches are the perfect pouch to mount on the front of the Plate Carrier. For the back side of the rig we recommend attaching our Hydrobull 100oz Hydration Bladder Cover. For your weapon system the BDS Tactical Single or Double Shoulder Slings will attach perfectly to the rig and your weapon system.
